Mayor Palicpic led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, together with Municipal Agriculturist Leonora Melendrez, Sangguniang Bayan-Committee on Agriculture Chair Celedonio Dapla, Municipal Administrator Ian Palicpic, 1st District Board Member Jerry Talaga, barangay captains, LGU department heads, and staff of the Municipal Agriculture Office.
The 10th Pagbilao Harvest Festival featured colorful booths of different barangays where Pagbilaowins, and visitors from nearby places, can buy Pagbilaowin products such as organic vegetables, fruits, sea foods, kakanin or finger foods, rice, shirts, baskets, etc.
The 10th Pagbilao Harvest Festival, themed “Araw ng Pamilyang Magsasaka at Mangingisda,” lasted until November 15. The LGU has been holding the event annually since 2007 to recognize Pagbilaowin farmers and fishermen, to celebrate the rich agriculture sector of Pagbilao, and to promote products that are truly Pagbilaowin.
