The Pagbilao Municipal Inter-Agency Advisory Committee (MIAC) conducted a meeting centered on Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program and Sustainable Livelihood Program, March 21, 2017 at the Office of the Municipal Administrator’s Conference Room.
The meeting revolved around the updates on Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) and Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries, testimonial and success story of beneficiaries, presentation of Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) and Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and presentation of the Social Welfare Development Indicators results and gaps.
Municipal Link Team Leader Ma. Mira Tadiosa presented the ensuing topics: distribution of Pagbilao registered households, 2016 compliance rate from period 1 to period 4, release of Cash Grants, activities attended by Pantawid Beneficiaries, on-going and updating activities, CLTS/WASH result, and the number of LGU links of Municipal Links versus the number of case load of the Municipal Links. As of March this year, there are 1,631 Pagbilao households registered under the anti-poverty program of the national government handled by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) which is the Pantawid Pamilya. Also discussed are updates on and accomplishments of the SLP which continues to provide livelihood know-hows to financially-incapable families in Pagbilao.
Additionally, the on-going and upcoming activities of the Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries are as follows: Family Development Session for the month of April to December 2017, MAT Meeting every Monday, Joint Monthly Meeting of CSO and Parent Leaders, Home Visitation (to consecutive non-compliant beneficiaries), GST Training for Male Spouses with Iba. Palsabangon and Mapagong as target barangays, Youth Development Session for high school students of Pagbilao National HS and Talipan National HS, OTC Pay Out on March 23, 2017, Case Conference on March 27, 2017, Direction Setting for all Pantawid Staff to be held in Real, Quezon on Mar. 28-30, 2017, and Provincial Cluster Operation’s Meeting on March 31, 2017.
