Government-run schools in the Municipality of Pagbilao welcomed School Year 2018-2019, June 4, 2018. Accordingly, Executive Assistant Carlo Magno Ayaton, alongside with the staff of the Office of the Municipal Mayor, visited Parang Pinagbayanan Elementary School to join the students, teachers and parents in the flag raising ceremony; and to catch on the projects the said school needs.
As the new school year began, the Local Government Unit of Pagbilao under the guidance of Mayor Palicpic also geared up for inevitable concerns such as heavy traffic and dense crowd where pickpockets thrive. Consequently, the LGU sent off men of the Pagbilao Municipal Police Station (PMPS) to help control the passing of vehicles in major highways and regulate traffic flow.
Most of the students were seen wearing the uniforms distributed by the Local Chief Executive, a program of the Municipal Government that is regularly done to address this particular need of the younger sector of Pagbilao and to encourage them to finish their studies.
The Principal of the said school held an orientation for the parents regarding the rules and regulations of the Department of Education (DepEd) and the significant role they play in the success of the school’s mission in providing an effective learning environment.
Mayor Palicpic also directed the Business Permit and Licensing Office as well as the Municipal Health Office to inspect on the canteens near the school if they are commpliant with DepEd’s Order No. 13, Series of 2017 that bans junk foods and softdrinks inside every school.
Aside from embracing the school year 2018-2019, Parang Pinagbayanan Elementary School also welcomed three (3) new additional teachers for grades five, six and a subject teacher. #SerbisyongClickatQuick #PagbilaoWINS
