Another school year has ended for Special Education students from PCES-SPED Center, Binahaan Integrated School-SPED Class and Talipan Elementary School-SPED Class.
During the first district-wide SPED recognition day, children with special needs were acknowledged for exhibiting noteworthy performance throughout the course of the concluding school season. The Pagbilao LGU, headed by Mayor Palicpic, and other partners were also recognized for their contribution to the Special Education Program in Pagbilao.
Municipal Administrator, Engr. Ian Palicpic attended the event in behalf of Mayor Palicpic. Knowing fully well his wife’s heart for differently-abled individuals, Engr. Palicpic said that one of her administration’s goal is to provide quality education for SPED students.
Palicpic in his message.
The municipal administrator also left an inspirational note to the students, their parents and their teachers.
Public Schools District Supervisor Aurea J. Gandia, meanwhile, expressed her gratitude to the municipal government and to Mayor Palicpic for the unwavering support to the education sector, particularly to the SPED Program.
During the event, the LGU Pagbilao provided wheelchairs, hearing aids and crane to students who need them. An air conditioning unit, and a projector and screen were also given. In addition, each student received a jacket.
