Thirty (30) beneficiaries of the Social Protection Program (SPP) gladly received fifteen (15) pairs of goats (30 goats in all), ten (10) cows and five (5) carabaos as part of the Animal Dispersal Program of the Local Government Unit of Pagbilao led by Mayor Shierre Ann Portes-Palicpic, May 8, 2017 at Brgy. Pinagbayanan.
Under the Animal Dispersal Program, the beneficiaries are expected to raise the animals they received and use them for livelihood and income-generation purposes.
In addition, the program recipients are required to give two (2) offspring to the LGU for every animal they received.
The LGU will also provide vitamins and vaccines for the animals given.
The dispersal activity was steered by Mayor Palicpic with SPP coordinators and the Office of the Municipal Agriculture.
