The Municipality of Pagbilao under the leadership of Mayor Shierre Ann Portes-Palicpic has once again been part of the biggest festivity in Quezon Province, the Niyogyugan Festival held from August 9 to August 20 this year. PagbilaWINS also bagged awards in the Festival’s various competitions.
Living up to their tag as “PagbilaoWINS”, the Pagbilao Street Dancers who stunned the crowd with their spirited performance, notched the title of a Champion, for the Dance Showdown held August 19 at the Quezon Convention Center.
The Pagbilao Niyogyugan Booth, was inspired by the annual celebration in honor of its Patron Saint Cahterine of Alexandria the Papag and Bilao Festival alongside with the rich agricultural products of its town therefore bagged the 5th place among the Class A Municipalities in the said province, where Infanta won the first place followed by Real (2nd place), Tagkwayan (3rd place), Tayabas (4th place), and Atimonan (6th place).
The Niyogyugan Festival is the official festivity of Quezon Province held annually to showcase the culture, civilization and creativity of Quezonians. #PagbilaoWINS #SerbisyongPalicpic
